It is July 19th, so all legal restrictions are lifted. The need to take precautions to safeguard one another hasn’t gone away and we will be considering what steps we need to take in the coming days.
We give thanks for the life of HRH Prince Philip, and pray for God’s blessings of peace & comfort for Her Majesty the Queen and her family. We will reflect the nation’s loss during our worship on Zoom tomorrow. Gatherings and floral tributes are not encouraged at this time, but you can sign online books of condolence here The Royal Family or here Welcome to the Church of England’s official website | The Church of England. May he rest in peace & rise in glory.
God of our lives,
we give thanks for the life of Prince Philip,
for his love of our country,
and for his devotion to duty.
We entrust him now to your love and mercy,
through our Redeemer Jesus Christ. Amen.
We’re making a gentle return to public worship from Sunday 18th April.
In view of the rapid rise in the number of people affected by Covid 19 we have reluctantly made the decision to close our building for now and focus on worshipping via Zoom. Please email if you’d like more information.
Information will be updated under the “Christmas Services/Zoom Christingle” tab above.
We’re able to welcome a congregation to All Saints tomorrow morning at 10am (19th July) to share in worship that will also go out via Zoom. Places are limited, but go to the “Home page” to fnd out how to book your place or connect via Zoom.
We’re working on our plans for re-opening for public worship, but we’re not quite ready yet. We’ll be continuing on Zoom this week so please email email@example.com for login details. We’ll post details of services in church just as soon as we can.
Good to hear that churches can be open for public worship from 4th July. Once we have all the information we need we’ll post arrangements here. In the meantime, church is open for individual private prayer on Wednesday from 2pm to 4pm. Bring a smart phone with you to safely access prayer guides.
For our drop in sessions on Zoom we have an opportunity to open up some discussion. On Tuesday 12th it will be in the form of a Q & A session on how and when we might be able to use the church building.
A new venture this coming Saturday at 3pm- Messy Zoom! Please get in touch if you’d like to know more – firstname.lastname@example.org. Or click on “Messy Zoom” above and leave a comment.
